Medijet® – Care

Hourly checks of the baby (for nurses):
  • nCPAP pressure
  • Oxygen concentration
  • O2 saturation
  • Alarm settings
  • Humidifier settings
  • Water condensation in tubes
  • Vital signs observation


8 HOURS:

  • Remove Medijet® generator and prong
  • Nasal suction if required
  • Clean nose and mouth
  • Do not apply vaseline on the nose
  • Re-application of Medijet® with clean prong
  • Careful fixation with the bonnet
  • Check nasal prong position, check mask position
  • Check nCPAP pressure

Important for choice of nasal prong and neo mask

Please use the measurement tape to choose the right bonnet and to choos the right prong - as tighter the prong or mask - better constancy of CPAP.

Please change between prong and mask once a day to avoid pressure points.

Please insert prong only halfway into the nose.

Do`nt fix too tight the strips of bonnet.
